We’re hiring for sous chefs, who cook on the line 4 days a week, at Dame. 

This is a no nonsense  kind of job -- if you love cooking casual food with great ingredients in a fast paced environment, you'll love it. However, clipboard chefs who want names on their jackets need not apply. 

Focused around the freshest product available, English cooking techniques, and a farmers market approach to seasonality, Dame is a casual, 20-seat seafood restaurant, that has won local and national recognition for it's food, service & staff environment.

We’re a very small team, run by owners who are working at the restaurant every day, and as such are only hiring cooks with experience. Everyone in the kitchen will be at or above the sous chef level, and there will be lots of room for growth in our young company. It's a 2 person line and an open kitchen, so there'll be significant interaction with customers whilst you're cooking. The sound track is loud, everyone is excited to be there, and it's a very fun place to cook, but everyone is expected to work hard and with a positivie attitude. Your input on dish development, operational systems, and service flow will be encouraged, and your development supported.

Dame is open for dinner Monday to Saturday. We are searching for cooks available to work 4-5 nights/week.
