Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Personal Injury Litigation Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in personal injury law (pre-litigation and litigation), with experience handling complex cases involving serious injuries and wrongful death. This role is crucial to providing top-tier legal representation to our clients throughout all phases of litigation, from initial consultation to trial and appeal if necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
- Legal Representation: Provide expert legal advice and representation in personal injury cases, including motor vehicle accidents, workplace injuries, slip and fall incidents, and wrongful death claims.
- Pre-Litigation & Litigation Process: Manage all phases of the pre-litigation & litigation process, including drafting legal documents (complaints, motions, discovery requests, responses), conducting depositions, and preparing for hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials.
- Case Management: Collaborate with paralegals, legal assistants, and other attorneys to ensure efficient and effective case management, handling medical reviews, discovery, and litigation strategy.
- Client Advocacy: Maintain clear and frequent communication with clients, providing updates on case developments and addressing their concerns with professionalism and empathy.
- Negotiations: Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients, striving for the best possible outcomes.
- Research & Analysis: Conduct thorough legal research, staying informed of relevant laws, regulations, and precedents.
Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years practicing personal injury law, with a proven track record of successful case outcomes.
- State Bar: Must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar of Georgia.
- Litigation Expertise: Strong litigation skills, including experience with all phases of the litigation process (trial experience preferred but not required).
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex legal issues clearly and concisely.
- Time Management: Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Client-Focused: Dedication to providing high-quality legal representation and achieving justice for clients.
- Team-Oriented: A collaborative team player who contributes positively to the firm’s culture.
- Language Skills: Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
