Patient Care Support Associate

Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Support Associate to provide patient care related support including services relative to hygiene, nutrition, ambulation, elimination, and safety as directed by the nursing staff. The role involves documenting patient care activities, taking vital signs, assisting with procedures and treatments, maintaining supplies and equipment, and providing timely and compassionate care to residents.

• High school diploma preferred, but not required
• Active Certified Nurse Assistant certification
• CPR certification required, or willing to obtain within six months of employment
• Long-term care experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to manage time and organize daily schedule
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift heavy objects, transfer and move patients, push and pull equipment, and perform necessary documentation
• Visual acuity with the ability to distinguish color
