About You:
Our client is looking for a well-rounded, customer-focused loan market expert who will be hands-on in a dynamic startup environment. As a Product Manager y ou will drive platform features by researching functionality and prioritizing development with our technology team. You will play an integral role in developing the strategy, roadmap, and features of our product and will have an impact on the evolution of our product. This role will report directly to the Head of Product and will work closely with senior leadership to grow our client's market presence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Head of Product on product vision and execute plan to achieve success
- Lead product development from concept through development
- Drive research, requirements, and design specifications for platform capabilities to solve inefficiencies in the syndicated loan market
- Write high level requirements and collaborate on user stories to define a backlog
- Support Business Analysts and Technology teams in carrying out development of the product and ensure final delivery meets requirements
- Manage customer feedback, requirements, and issues
- Provide polished product demonstrations to both internal teams and clients/prospects
- Participate in client advisory committees and sales efforts as a subject matter expert
- Collaborate with sales team to prepare for customer meetings
- Work closely with customer support team to provide assistance by answering loan market related questions and troubleshooting issues
Must Haves
- 5+ years of capital market experience
- 3+ years product management experience
- Experience understanding various user personas and journeys, facilitating user-centric design
- Independent self-starter with a results-oriented mindset
- Strong and clear writing ability
- Excellent presentation and communication skills
- Self-motivated attitude and ability to work in a dynamic start-up environment
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Excellent interpersonal skills and effectiveness working cross functionally
