WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
The Sales and Customer Account Executive at Generous Brands will work closely with assigned customers, third-party carriers, distribution centers, and various internal departments to achieve the highest level of customer service while enhancing mutual growth and profitability. This includes but is not limited to executing accurate and timely customer fulfillment thorough accuracy of order entry, order shipment, order completeness, invoice accuracy, and resolving disputes involving deductions. This person will be part of a team that works as a liaison with all Bolthouse Farms warehouses and distribution centers ensuring stock is available to meet fill rate goals as well as to insure on time shipping and performance in a proficient manner.
  • The nature of this position is to deliver a highly focused customer centric service commitment based on timely and accurate communication and data interchange between the customer, field sales, logistics, operations, and finance. The Sales and Customer Management Representative will work cooperatively with outside sales and other members of the distribution team to grow existing customers, create new customers while increasing customer service while performing the following duties:
  • Maintain key top-to-top relationships with Bolthouse sales team to better understand their needs and enable effective and cost-efficient customer service plans
  • Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
  • Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability or specifications
  • Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
  • Accurately process customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns
  • Provide the resolution of escalated internal and external issues. Act as primary interface point with manufacturing, logistics, operations, and sales management as well as the customer(s)
  • Increase sales and average order size by means of up-selling, add-on sales and offering promotional sale items
  • Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any complaint
  • Identify trends in customer satisfaction or dissatisfaction
  • Handle logistics function such as tracking of shipments and returns
  • Provide appropriate communication to customers during times of variability within the lifecycle of an order
  • Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 2 years customer service and/or sales experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business, Logistics, or closely related field
  • Computer literacy: Microsoft Office Suite to include Word, and Excel
  • Accurate typing and data entry skills
  • Proficient use of English language when speaking, reading and writing
ADDITIONAL REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to handle a high-stress, multi-task environment
  • Must exhibit strong degree of professionalism
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Prior experience with JD Edwards is a plus
  • Strong problem-solving skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
  • Must be able to lift/push-pull/carry up to 20lbs
