Staff Accountant

Seeking an experienced Controller for a 3-6 month contract at a manufacturing facility in York, PA. This fully onsite role requires a hands-on professional with a background in manufacturing and experience in international accounting. Flexible working hours are available. Payrate is based on experience up to $50/hr.
Controller Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all accounting functions.
• Analysis of monthly and annual financial statements in line with Corporate GAAP.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Handle local tax accounting and compliance.
• Streamline financial reporting processes for improved efficiency.
• Conduct cash flow analysis and implement improvement initiatives.

Controller Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, and Corporate GAAP.
• Experience with MRP systems and strong Excel
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
