New York Life is seeking a highly qualified individual as a Solutions Marketing Manager for its various product lines – such as Life Insurance, individual disability insurance (IDI), wealth management, etc. This role will be responsible for helping craft the messaging and positioning of various NYL product solutions, supporting the creation of content, developing marketing campaigns, marketing collateral, and supporting new product launches. This role will interact with other marketing leads, the agency sales strategy and sales distribution teams to educate, inform, and encourage the adoption of agent-based marketing programs, resources, initiatives, and tactics to enable sales growth and support agent productivity, as well as meeting client needs. This position will report up through Corporate Marketing but will work closely with product and sales teams that collaborate with marketing.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Manage the development of compelling content and marketing materials that describes the solution’s ability to meet consumer needs, creating consumer facing, external messages and assets focused on key market segments identified for the product category, buyer personas and buying stages.
  2. Develop creative briefs to support the development of high priority/high impact content.
  3. Support the development of core messaging.
  4. Handle editorial and content production activities and processes as well as content maintenance.
  5. Assist in the creation and cultivation of internal marketing and sales assets, and marketing campaigns.
  6. Interact with product teams and cross-functional marketing teams to support and develop the product positioning strategy, messaging, and differentiation.
  7. Work closely with the agency sales distribution team and ensure alignment between the product value proposition and sales positioning strategies.
  8. Provide additional marketing support as needed.

  8. Results-oriented with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  9. Ability to develop, create and identify needed marketing collateral.

Experience

3-5 years of product or financial services marketing experience.

Relevant experience creating, developing, and implementing successful marketing plans.

Education

Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably in business, marketing, or related field.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range: $77,500-$132,500

Discretionary bonus eligible: Yes

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual’s experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
