Position Summary
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing the company's payroll(s), ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time across all locations. Your duties will include maintaining payroll records, addressing employee inquiries, administering benefits, generating reports, and collaborating with various departments. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position with typical working hours of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hours and work shifts may change in accordance with department and business needs. Exempt Employees must have the ability to be on-call and available, as business needs require. Non-Exempt employees may be required to work over 40 hours per week with approval from the department manager.
Work Environment
This job operates in a clerical, office setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers and phones.
Physical Demands
This is a largely sedentary role; however, some physical abilities may be required.

Position Summary
As a Payroll Specialist, you will be responsible for processing the company's payroll(s), ensuring that employees are paid accurately and on time across all locations. Your duties will include maintaining payroll records, addressing employee inquiries, administering benefits, generating reports, and collaborating with various departments. Additionally, you will ensure compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
Role and Responsibilities
- Reconcile timesheets no less than once per pay period to confirm that the recorded hours align with scheduled work hours and any approved time off, such as vacation or sick leave.
- Maintain employee records by entering updates into ADP as necessary including garnishments, liens, various other deductions, status and/or salary updates, and demographic updates,
- Monitor the payroll inbox/ticketing system and provide prompt responses within four (4) hours of receipt of message.
- Aid and assist team in gathering all other necessary data required to process payroll per pay period.
- Input necessary data required to process payroll in ADP and run necessary timekeeping integrations to begin payroll calculation.
- Calculate the gross to net through ADP and review preview for accuracy.
- Calculate miscellaneous payments as necessary for manual checks, OOC Payrolls, or final pay requirements. Review for accuracy.
- Create and run reports through ADP as necessary to support the various enterprise functions.
- Provide payroll associate(s) support in customer service when necessary.
- Partners with internal teams related to payroll calculation needs and the execution of configuration of all earnings, deductions and taxes.
- Understands the employee experience and works collaboratively with our People Team to provide continuous improvement of our ADP People Systems
- Builds a culture of continuous improvement within the team that aligns to the Metrea Firmware
- 3 years of progressive experience in payroll
- 1 year of ADP WorkForce Now and/or WorkForce Management experience
- Excellent problem solving skills with a demonstrated ability to identify problems and systematically gather data, identify root cause and address data integrity issues as needed
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong Excel skills
- Desire to innovate and improve processes with through automation and workflow management
- Able to work effectively in a time sensitive environment, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
- Ability to collaborate effectively across internal and external teams
