Portfolio Analyst

Weekly day range: Monday to Friday

Work setting: Office

Responsibilities:

• Perform market reviews, comparison of different industries, consideration of historic trends, and an understanding of financial metrics
• Monitor and create trading reports
• Performance tracking and benchmarking
• Critically examines current holdings to evaluate if portfolio action is warranted
• Prepare and attend investment committee meetings
• Comply with all industry rules and regulations and firm policies

Qualifications:

The candidate should have strong quantitative and analytical skills and good knowledge of markets and investments. Additional qualifications include:

• Four-year college degree or professional certification preferred
• Active Series 7, 63 and 65 or Series 7 and 66 or ability to acquire in 6 months

Knowledge/Skills:

• Proficient in applicable software applications
• Financial industry and product knowledge
• CFA Candidate level or interest in pursuing CFA designation
• Strong Excel skill and proficient in PowerPoint
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Compensation: $60,000 - $80,000 yearly
