Data Modeler

We are sourcing a "Data Modeler " to work at one of our client's locations in Boston, MA or Merrimack , NH or Jersey City, NJ or Smithfield, RI

Education and Experience (dependent on level)

• A Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
• 10+ years’ experience with data design, analysis, and development. Development experience weighted towards PL/SQL and ETL tools.
• Demonstrated experience in the following areas: Database Management Systems, Data API design and implementation, PL/SQL, warehouses, data modeling, and data profiling.

Skills and Knowledge

• Demonstrable experience with SAP Power Designer or similar data modeling tools required.
• Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced understanding of the database development process, including analysis, design, coding, testing, problem resolution and planning, and full competency in all relevant coding environments, languages, tools, and platforms
• Outstanding interpersonal skills and strong verbal and written skills to effectively communicate with technical and non-technical associates in the company
• Proven interpersonal skills, including working across the organization and interacting/influencing/negotiating optimally at all levels of management and with peers.
• Experience in working in data management/governance with an understanding of how data is ingested, stored, and maintained.
• Understanding of principles and standard methodologies around Data Architecture
• Ability to prioritize data analysis initiatives based on business criticality.
• Experience in the financial services industry are a plus
• Knowledge in cryptocurrency area a plus.

Must-Have:

PL/SQL: intermediate level

Informatica Catalog experience (NOT informatica ETL experience)

SAP PowerDesigner or similar software

Be able to write queries

Swagger - (don't develop API; someone else is building the APIs) You're creating the model for what another team will code Conceptual/logical/physical data models

Nice to Have:

Cryptocurrency experience and knowledge is fine but not a must. Leadership skills
