The CIO role will entail overseeing Enterprise-wide Technology functions including but not limited to IT Services, IT Finance and Expenses, IT Control & Risk Management, IT Infrastructure and Networks, Enterprise Architecture, Core Banking, Digital Banking, Customer Onboarding & Customer Service. This leader is responsible for establishing, institutionalizing, measuring, and continuously evolving the vision and execution of these functions across Choice to support our business growth objectives. The CIO will be well-versed in cutting-edge technologies and industry trends, leveraging their expertise to propel innovation and foster expansion. Collaborating closely with the senior leadership, the CIO will ensure strategic technology investments align with the bank's strategic objectives. The CIO must demonstrate a proven ability to cultivate, guide, and inspire a dynamic team of cross-disciplinary technologists within a fast-paced production setting, and exceptional communication skills are imperative to enhance team cohesion. A profound comprehension of steering teams, along with adeptness in resource scaling, process optimization, and governance, is vital to delivering top-tier product outcomes. As a leader, the Chief Information Officer must demonstrate business-minded problem-solving and continually assess, plan, and execute for technology and talent changes within the marketplace.
Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular one-on-ones to align cultural & business objectives, prioritize the most important work and coach to high performance.
  • Facilitate execution through effective situational leadership tools.
  • Support engagement and action by listening to team member feedback - what's working, what's not - support them in initiating and executing positive changes and provided them with adequate resources.
  • Support in the team members professional and personal.
  • Catch team members being approximately right through timely, individualized recognition.
  • Promote collaboration and face to face interaction.
  • Develop and lead execution of a comprehensive vision and strategy, for innovative technological advancements in products and services in a variety of Enterprise-wide technology functions.
  • Clearly communicate the vision and roadmap to key stakeholders, partners, and the broader executive leadership team. Collaborate with business-aligned Technology and Operations leaders. Regularly preset objectives, achievements, and progress updates.
  • Stay abreast of evolving technologies, emerging approaches, industry best practices, relevant architectural principles, and patterns. Synthesize and apply these in a manner that adds business value and sets the company apart.
  • Ensure the security, scalability, and performance of the technical infrastructure through consistent maintenance.
  • Foster and fortify internal and external business partnerships by excelling in planning, delivery, and communication of IT solutions for various business opportunities.
  • Offer strategic advisory services to operations and business partners by recommending tailored technical solutions that align with their needs and leverage technology as a competitive advantage.
  • Oversee significant vendor relationships and contract support, ensuring service level agreements are met.
