As an MA, you will also get to actively participate in Network quality initiatives regarding best practices.Exceptional Skills and QualificationsApplicants for this position should be able to collaborate with others in a team setting, have excellent communication skills, and a positive attitude toward problem-solving.Graduate/certificate of completion from a recognized medical assisting program OR a High School Diploma/GED + one year of medical assistant experience in a physician practice within the past three years.2 Podiatric Medical Assistant certifications required within 6 months of hire - PMAC and IPLAPrepare exam rooms and treatment areas for patient use including required cleaning and stocking of suppliesRoom patients and manage an efficient flow of provider’s caseloadObtain necessary vital signs, EKGs, and/or specimen collectionDocumentation of care using the EPIC EMR systemPerform Point of Care Testing based on patient’s chief complaint and available protocolsProcess referrals and medication refillsMaintain positive relationships with patients, providers, and staffWhy Community?At Community Health Network, we build teams that deliver exceptional care through empathy, communication and collaboration.
