Job Location:
Vishay Barry is located in Attleboro, MA that is conveniently located near the main highways as well as some highly recommended restaurants. There are approximately 70 employees across two shifts working at our 40,000 sq. ft. facility of manufacturing space. This would be an on-site position.
What you will be doing:
- Manage planning, process, and plant teams in order to achieve targets assigned by the division
- Support R&D, marketing, and quality functions located at the site
- Maximize product line billing and profitability
- Participate in the development of product line strategy, schedules, and associated processes
- Deploy product line strategy
- Measure and analyze variable cost variations in co-op with cost analysis team
- Define and manage P&L and multi-year budget plans
- Define and manage budgets for capital expenditure projects
- Participate in drawing up Infrastructure Buildings budget
- Develop and manage cost reduction programs
- Define production requirements
- Guarantee achievement of KPI targets (backlogs, inventories, stock rotation, productivity, and yields)
- Communicate company’s strategy and policies
- Develop staff skills and cross training opportunities
What you will bring along:
- BS Degree in an Engineering or related technical discipline. Masters degree preferred.
- 5+ years in management of cross-disciplinary teams in an industrial environment (electronics business preferred)
- Finance and cost analysis skills required
- Change management and strong communication skills required
