At SafeBeat Rx, we’re building ECG software that powers hospitalization at home. We’re applying ML to cardiovascular disease detection, interpreting time-series data from ECG signals and determining whether they exhibit certain issues. We are currently doing this via a combination of signal processing and ML algorithms, with room for improvement in algorithms, approach, signal selection, and cleanup.
We’re looking for a technical advisor who can also work hands-on at least 10 hours a week. This is an equity-based compensation for a technical advisor position.
You are
- Very comfortable writing Python
- Experienced with multivariate time series data, signal and image processing, and probabilistic methods.
- Familiar with Keras/PyTorch and training deep neural networks
- Excellent at getting things done
- Self-directed and independent
- Nice to have: experience with ECG analysis
Activities include
- Being part of a team pushing the boundaries of ML-enhanced electrocardiography
- Being proactive, reviewing our current approach, and reading research papers to find alternative methods
- Building prototypes to quickly test these methods and documenting the results
- Owning your project, making decisions, writing code, running experiments, evaluating results, and drawing conclusions
