Foodservice Account Representative

Our client is a leading specialty food service manufacturer. Due to continued growth, they are seeking to hire a Foodservice Account Rep based in FL covering FL and AL.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing sales activities and driving revenue growth in the region. This is a home-based role in Florida and will require travel throughout the region. This is a key position that requires strong food service sales skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients/end users.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve company goals and objectives.
- Sell to food service distributors in your region and call on retail end users, Corporate HQ’s, and local QSR’s.
- Build and maintain relationships with key end users and stakeholders.
- Attend trade shows and demonstrations as needed.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure customer satisfaction and successful project implementation.
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competition, and best practices.
Minimum Requirements:
- 3+ years of foodservice success calling on end users/ retail customers in FL.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to close deals and meet sales targets.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English, read and write a must. Spanish speaking is a plus.
- Ability to analyze market data and make informed business decisions.
- Culinary Skills to demonstrate products.
- Willingness to travel within the assigned region.
