Job Description
What you get to do in this role:
- Build high-quality, clean, scalable and reusable code by enforcing best practices around software engineering architecture and processes (Code Reviews, Unit testing, etc.)
- Work with the product owners to understand detailed requirements and own your code from design, implementation, test automation and delivery of high-quality product to our users.
- Design software that is simple to use to allow customers to extend and customize the functionality to meet their specific needs
- Work directly on a product to define the next generation of software development on the ServiceNow platform
- Be a mentor for colleagues and help promote knowledge-sharing
- Work with customers and developers to understand how the product is being used to provide a better product
Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:
- 6+ years experience with Typescript, Javascript or similar language
- Passion for Typescript and programming languages
- Experience with design patterns, performance considerations, and writing testable and efficient code
- Experience with NodeJS, Typescript, creating components and APIs that are customer focused
- Analytical and design skills focused on developer experiences
- Work with other development teams and customers to understand product usage and promote adoption
- Ability to manage projects with material technical risk at a team level
FD21
For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $142,700 - $249,800, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
