This role involves ensuring that daily operations adhere to state and federal laws, regulations, and the Bank's lending policies and procedures. Additionally, the Loan Administrator ensures that departmental activities operate smoothly while delivering exceptional customer relations and service.

Description

General Duties

  • Serve as the Loan Administration representative, coordinating transactions among customers, Agent Banks, Participant Banks, Front Office, and the Americas Treasury Division (ATD).
  • Oversee the administrative aspects of all new deal closings, including calculating, invoicing, and disbursing deal-related fees, as well as coordinating fund movements for initial funding and closing. Collaborate closely with the Borrower and Bank Group.
  • Report transactions requiring special handling or approval to Management, Supervisors, and the Account Officer.

Credit Arrangement Maintenance

  • Independently manage administrative processes for complex loan deals as the administrative agent and bilateral lender.
  • Provide consultative support to Account Officers on operational deal structure issues.
  • Review documentation and Term Sheets/CA Booking Requests to ensure compliance with Credit Approval and maintain accurate Credit Arrangements in ACBS.

Commercial Loan Maintenance

  • Oversee daily maintenance of commitment facilities, including monitoring borrowing status, preparing new borrowings, rollovers, rate settings, and repayments.
  • Calculate, invoice, and disburse ongoing interest and fees from both Borrower and Lender perspectives, including agency and amendment fees, and all monthly/quarterly activities.
  • Manage Fronting LC, Invoice Discounting, and Risk Participations, while monitoring and distributing financials as due.
  • Collaborate with Treasury on rate settings for foreign currencies and USD loans.
  • Ensure transaction integrity and maintain data quality and accuracy.

Reconciliation

  • Troubleshoot deal management issues and communicate with Treasury to resolve funding rate discrepancies.
  • Engage with customers regarding cash movement activities and reconcile statements with ledger entries.

Profile

  • 3-6 years of experience within Loan Administration/Servicing
  • Bilateral and syndicated loan experience a MUST
  • Experience using both ACBS and LoanIQ software
  • Experience with specialized lending products (e.g. Asset Securitization, Leasing, Collateralized Loan Obligations, Project Finance, Loan Trading, and or Credit Derivatives, as necessary)
  • Experience with compliance in a lending area
  • Experience with collateral evaluation procedures
  • Bachelors Degree in Finance or related
