Simmonds, Martin & Helmbrecht of Advantia Health is looking for a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (WHNP) to join our practices in Frederick, Gaithersburg, and Rockville, MD. We are seeking a WHNP with solid GYN experience as well as antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum experience that includes patients with varying medical conditions (diabetes, hypertension, etc.).

Job Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients.
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic, or chronic illnesses.
- Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments.
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities.
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care.
Qualifications:
- Master of Science degree with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program required.
- Current state licensure as a Women's Health Nurse Practitioner (Maryland preferred).
- Current state licensure as a Registered Nurse (Maryland preferred).
- Current BLS certification or obtained prior to providing direct patient care is required.
- DEA and CDS eligible.
- 1+ years' experience working in the women's health field.
