Maintenance Manager (Flexible Packaging)

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager for a leading flexible packaging manufacturing facility. This role is critical in ensuring the efficient operation of our high-speed production lines, which include state-of-the-art flexographic printing presses and other specialized equipment used in the manufacturing of flexible packaging products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a skilled maintenance team to ensure the smooth operation of all equipment, with a focus on flexographic printing presses.
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to minimize downtime and enhance productivity.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
• Manage maintenance schedules, parts inventory, and supplier relationships to ensure timely repairs and cost-effective operations.
• Collaborate with production teams to optimize machine performance and production efficiency.
• Maintain a safe working environment, adhering to OSHA and other safety regulations.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and overall plant efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Manager or in a similar role within the flexible packaging or printing industry.
• In-depth knowledge of flexographic printing presses and other machinery used in flexible packaging production.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Expertise in mechanical, electrical, and PLC systems.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a focus on problem-solving and continuous improvement.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
