Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst (Hybrid in Columbia, SC)

The AgFirst Senior Financial Planning & Analysis Analyst provides financial planning and forecasting support for the financial management of the Bank and associations. This is the lead analyst for bank business plan, reforecasts, and stress testing using forecasted balance sheet and interest rates, and works with Bank managers to determine volume and interest rate projections. What you'll do

1. Collaborate mindset. Partner with the credit department on various stress testing scenarios.
2. Present reports to the ALCO and Bank executives.
3. Report and analyze plan projections to actual.
4. Monitor markets, implied forward curves, and economic data for interest rate forecasting.
5. Apply interest rate shocks in comparison to baseline forecasted position.
6. Back-test forecasted Net Interest Income to actual.
7. Provide analysis on changes in market values and net interest income.
8. Report and present stress test scenarios to Bank management and system work group.

What you'll need

1. Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, or related field.
2. Five years of comparable work experience.
3. Ability to plan, organize and carry out assignments on own initiative in a timely and accurate manner.
4. Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with various stakeholders.
5. Judgmental and decision-making abilities based on interpretation of management needs, regulations, and policy requirements.
6. Advanced knowledge of MS Office applications, including Excel, Access, and VBA.
7. Knowledge of R, Python and SQL is highly desirable.
8. Thorough understanding of financial management skills.
9. QRM or financial simulation experience highly preferred.
10. Bloomberg experience preferred.
