Job Summary:
The Marketing Associate will work closely with the Marketing Manager to implement digital, social, and print campaigns, with a primary focus on our Law Enforcement/Tactical brands. In addition, the successful candidate will create and maintain reports for the Marketing and Merchandising Departments and will be responsible for promo creation in NetSuite.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Assist in developing campaign initiatives:
  • Participate in developing digital and print Law Enforcement/Tactical campaigns
  • Help with giveaways, surveys, emails, print materials, tradeshows, vendor agreements, print ads, and articles.
  • Provide guidance for the design of creative materials - such as emails, homepage banners, social posts, video shoots, photo shoots and print materials.
  • Handle Law Enforcement requests from Outside Sales Associates.
Create promos and sales in BigCommerce.
Track campaign performance.
  • Gather, analyze, and report campaign metrics for marketing initiatives- including social media, email, website banners, and campaigns.
  • Measure success and effectiveness of marketing campaigns and identify areas for improvement.
  • Create saved searches in NetSuite to provide critical reporting data to the Marketing and Merchandising Departments.
  • Prepare, present, and distribute analytics and metrics in various meetings/settings.
Identify ways to increase exposure of Law Enforcement/Tactical product offering
  • Recommend and manage participation on emerging social platforms and marketplaces.
  • Work with Merchandising, Inside Sales, and Outside Sales to identify strategically important product lines to highlight.
Comply with Witmer Public Safety Group policies and procedures.
Performs other duties or projects assigned by the management team
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, either in-person or hybrid. The general work schedule is Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Requirements

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related degree
  • 1-3 years of experience in marketing, social media, and campaign development
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
  • Experience with social media - Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn
  • Experience with CRM systems
  • Proficient in the use of Google Analytics
  • Experience with Hootsuite (preferred, not required)
  • Familiarity with Firearms (preferred)
  • Familiarity or hands-on experience in the public safety industry (preferred, not required)
