Over the past decades, Optony has assisted hundreds of clients worldwide with project feasibility, clean energy planning, and energy strategy. The firm has been instrumental in clean energy development through services in evaluation, procurement, development, or a combination of these tasks.

What you'll do

       Solve new challenges daily, working nationwide to lead all business activities related to fleet electrification & electric vehicle infrastructure including business development and project management

       Own and manage complex projects consisting of electric vehicle suitability assessments, charging infrastructure needs assessments and charging infrastructure procurement for public fleets

       Collaborate closely with team members leading the Distributed Energy Resources practice area to incorporate solar and battery storage solutions into fleet electrification planning projects

       Liaise with established strategic partners to identify and pursue new business opportunities

What you'll need to bring with you

      Knowledge of engineering, or an advanced type of analytics in a technical field or science

       Desire to take ownership of projects and implement a strategic vision to help public agencies achieve emissions reductions goals

       Technical experience with batteries, solar, electric vehicles, electrification options, and working with energy interval data sets

       Demonstrated success in managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders while meeting established deadlines

       Excel fluency, and ability to operate independently in a fluid, fast-paced environment

       Bachelors from an accredited university and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the energy, consulting, or engineering fields

       Previous experience in client facing consulting roles preferred

       Basic knowledge of electrical wholesale and distribution systems and construction-related experience is preferred
