The In/Out Processing Specialist will manage the in-processing and out-processing of enlisted personnel, ensuring that all necessary records and documentation are accurately maintained and updated. This role requires coordination with various military departments to facilitate seamless transitions for service members and ensure compliance with military regulations.

Experience: • Minimum of 2 years of experience in military personnel management or a related field. • Knowledge of military personnel systems and records management is preferred.

Education: • High school diploma or equivalent; an associate or bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is preferred.

Clearance: • Must be able to pass a NACI (National Agency Check with Inquiries) background check

Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the in-processing and out-processing of enlisted personnel, ensuring all required documentation is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with personnel, administration, and other relevant departments to streamline processing for incoming and outgoing service members.
  • Maintain and update enlisted personnel records, ensuring compliance with military regulations and policies.
  • Verify that all personnel actions are documented appropriately and that records are accessible and secure.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for personnel regarding in/out processing, addressing any questions or concerns.
  • Communicate effectively with various military units and agencies to facilitate smooth transitions for service members.
  • Provide guidance and support to personnel during the in/out processing procedures, ensuring they understand the requirements and steps involved.
  • Assist in training new staff on the processes and systems related to personnel processing and records management.
  • Enter and maintain data related to in/out processing into personnel management systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Generate reports as needed for management review, providing insights on processing efficiency and personnel transitions.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable military regulations and standards regarding personnel records and processing.
  • Participate in audits and reviews, providing necessary documentation and information.
  • Identify opportunities for improving in/out processing procedures and personnel records management.
  • Stay informed about best practices and changes in military personnel policies and systems.
