The Senior Financial Analyst – Project Analysis role opportunity is an exciting role supporting Air Products’ growth in large, industrial gases projects in the Americas. The analyst is involved with cash flow analysis, international finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), strategic negotiations, and business development. The analyst will be expected to develop an understanding of regional market dynamics, Air Products’ industrial gases offerings, and the competitive landscape.

This position will be based in either Allentown, PA or at our Houston, TX office.

Job Duties

  • Cash Flow Modeling
  • Perform analysis and provide recommendations for assessments of new business opportunities
  • Support contract negotiations by providing timely analysis and strategic insight to enhance financial returns and reduce Air Products’ risk exposure
  • Uphold and apply Air Products’ finance and accounting standards
  • Capital spend forecasting and reporting
  • Written requests to CEO and Board of Directors for approval of capital expenditures
  • Coordinate and support the development of standardized financial models and outputs in the Americas

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred, with 3-5 years of financial analyst experience
  • Strong communication skills combined with proficiency in project/risk analysis, operational analysis, accounting knowledge
  • Excellent influencing and interpersonal skills
  • Demonstrate a high level of intellectual curiosity and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word skills
  • Ability to leverage the skills above to influence and ultimately improve the risk/return profile of deals
