Department Overview

The Technology Solutions (“TS”) Department is responsible for designing and delivering state of the art technology solutions that create efficiency, mitigate risk, and grow revenue for the Firm. TS also manages a robust Cyber Security program following the NIST Cyber Security Framework, focusing on technical excellence through innovative application designs, robust data integration, high availability infrastructure, and gold level service for key stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities

This is a hands-on position in our Middle / Back Office Technology Team focused on key third party vendor systems across several Portfolio Monitoring, Trading, and Operations functions. Responsibilities include:

  1. Become a subject matter expert in core line-of-business software platforms servicing middle and back-office functions.
  2. Provide support for applications by triaging support issues, identifying root causes, and handling issue resolution.
  3. Work closely with development teams and vendors to clarify requirements and ensure application delivery meets business specifications.
  4. Ensure that all delivered solutions meet quality standards and satisfy specified business requirements.
  5. Analyze and understand complex business processes and identify opportunities to leverage technology.
  6. Understand relationships and dependencies of related business functions.
  7. Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders.
  8. Demonstrate ownership for deliverables and understand technology solution changes.
  9. Exhibit resourcefulness in identifying and engaging available resources.
  10. Facilitate meetings with all levels of the organization.
  11. Demonstrate an ability to multitask and manage time effectively.

Candidate Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 1 - 3 years of related technical experience, preferably in Financial Services.
  2. Working knowledge and experience with all phases of the SDLC.
  3. Prior experience with Azure DevOps or similar work item management is a plus.
  4. Ability to analyze SQL code performance and write optimized SQL.
  5. Experience managing an API lifecycle or similar software components.
  6. Strong analytical skills to document and translate business requirements.
  7. Exceptional interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills.
  8. Abide by work-in-office policies.
