The Global Economic Diversity Development Initiative (GEDDI) is a 501(c)3 non-profit foundation seeking donations to afford its fund development arm the ability to make grants to nonprofit and for-profit recipients focused on building economic wealth for the Black community. GEDDI began operations in August 2020 and is continuing to build its capacity to become the leader in funding Black business development.

Our foundation is 100% Black-founded and predominantly Black-led.

ABOUT THE POSITION

GEDDI is seeking a bold leader to scale a nascent non-profit to a full-blown foundation that empowers Black business development by providing resources, access, and tools to Black-owned businesses and emerging entrepreneurs.

Founded in 2020, GEDDI operates Just Boss Up, a business accelerator program that gives ~100 graduates per year the tools for participants to legally establish a business.

The organization is seeking to grow from a Louisville-based program-operating non-profit to a wealth-generating engine that funds Black-owned business development locally, regionally, and nationally.

The Executive Director will lead fund development, manage program outcomes, and serve as the representative of the organization at all external events.

Hybrid, in-person and remote available.

Re-location stipend offered for those 90 miles outside of Louisville, Kentucky.

COMPENSATION

$70,000-$90,000
