Our client is a rapidly growing investment management firm headquartered in Newport Beach, CA. The Firm manages over $1 billion in AUM and is a part of a larger Multi Family Office with over $24 billion in AUM. They provide investment management services to private clients and manage three fixed-income funds. The firm also offers discretionary investment management services to high net-worth individuals and trusts along with discretionary fixed-income investment management to their Trust company.
The Relationship Manager is integral to the client experience and overall relationship management. This position requires a highly motivated person who will work directly with high-net-worth individuals and will represent the face of the firm for most client inquiries and interactions. This individual will work closely with the firm’s portfolio management team, be responsible for the daily operations of client relationships, and will utilize their strong interpersonal communication and high attention to detail skillsets to successfully manage and grow the business. The Client Advisor will assist in the firm’s growth through individual and company-sponsored business development activities and through superior, ongoing customer service.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Client Service
- Coordinate quarterly, semi-annual, annual, and ad hoc client meetings including preparation of performance and holdings reports
- Attend client meetings, communicate portfolio positioning, performance, and investment outlook
- Administer all aspects of client accounts
- Provide excellent client service in all aspects of the client relationship
Client Account Support
- Open client accounts and provide ongoing client access support
- Support client account activity and client statement inquiries
- Asset transfer and money movement
- On-line access support
- General client support
Account Management
- Account opening, maintenance, and documentation
- Asset transfers and money movement
- Reconcile cash and security movements as necessary
Business Development
- Drive mutual fund growth through expanding institutional and individual relationships
- New business presentation preparation
- Assist with business development events, including client seminars and networking events
- Cultivate new business development leads through community engagement

EDUCATION & SKILLS

- CFP preferred (or desire to obtain)
