Location: Honolulu, HI
Duties:
Among other responsibilities, the Consultant will be responsible for planning, coordinating and executing company events. In addition, the Consultant will be responsible for the preparation and distribution of Island Insurance communications, including but not limited to internal and external memoranda, company newsletters, general agency bulletins, letters to agencies and insureds, and other reports. This role will also be tasked with assisting with the development and management of the company website, social media content calendars and posting schedules, and will be required to collaborate with public relations vendors, collaborate with product development teams, etc. in support of the Island's corporate marketing plan. The role requires a blend of event management skills, marketing expertise and technical proficiency to enhance our brand presence and support our marketing initiatives.
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications or Journalism preferred; and minimum 3-5 years of marketing experience, preferably with Hawaii businesses.
- Valid Hawaii Driver's license and use of own vehicle.
