Overview:
CUNY School of Professional Studies (CUNY SPS) is seeking a Temporary Part-Time Project Manager to lead a website migration from Drupal 7 to Drupal 10. This role will support the Office of Marketing and Communications.
Requirements and Experience:
Bachelor's degree.
Minimum 5 years of experience as a project manager on at least three (3) Drupal migration projects.
Responsibilities:
- Facilitate Communication:
Serve as the point of contact between the Migration Vendor and CUNY SPS Marketing.
Ensure open communication with the vendor regarding website migration and related work.
- Monitor Migration Milestones:
Communicate and monitor migration milestones with the Migration Vendor and CUNY SPS Marketing.
- Report any delays or issues to the CUNY SPS team and leadership promptly.
Communicate Project Priorities:
Work with CUNY SPS Marketing to prioritize content, modules, functionality, plugins, SEO, and third-party integrations for the Migration Vendor.
Identify which modules need to be migrated, those that are core in D10, those no longer needed, and those requiring substitution.
- Organize and Attend Status Meetings:
Schedule regular status meetings (weekly or bi-weekly) with the Migration Vendor.
Discuss project status, completed items, in-progress items, blockers, and backlog updates.
- Document and Report Key Takeaways:
Record key takeaways from Migration Vendor meetings and report back to the CUNY SPS marketing team.
- Manage CUNY SPS Dependencies:
Document and communicate all CUNY SPS dependencies to Marketing leadership and the relevant team members.
Provide as much advance notice as possible for deliverables or QA support needed from the team.
- Ensure Access to Environments:
Ensure the CUNY SPS Marketing team has access to all testing and development environments used by the Migration Vendor.
- Ensure Access to Documentation:
Ensure the CUNY SPS Marketing team has access to all documentation and project planning materials provided by the Migration Vendor.

Preferred Skills:
Candidate should be proficient in the following-
Microsoft Office
Drupal
Project Management Software
Zoom/Teams.
