Retirement Plan Participant ConsultantCompensation: $65,000 - $100,000 and bonus eligibleLocation: Los Angeles, CA (position can be fully remote but hybrid is preferred)This role deals with the financial education of the employees of retirement plan clients throughout the regional area. It also assists in providing options for their 401(k), 403(b) and other retirement plans. This person will educate participants of the plan and help employees with their retirement plan goals. You will be responsible for creating relationships and opportunities for referrals to our wealth management team of advisors. This will be done through group and individual financial education meetings. The goal is to increase employee participation, increase employee deferrals elections and providing investment education.Extensive training and support will be provided. This career offers an excellent track to run on. Financial growth over time can be significant for top performers who embrace the challenge of learning the diverse and significant technical requirements needed to be proficient.This is a full-time role offering the flexibility of a remote schedule. This person should be comfortable with speaking to individuals and groups Travel may consist of 15-20%.Responsibilities:Speak with clients on a one on one or group basis to educate them on their retirement planProvide financial education meetings in person and virtuallyServe as contact and lead financial education for plan participantsActively interact with clients and their employees to ensure delivery of service expectationsPrepare for meetings in advance and ensure follow-up and execution of deliverables following the meetingsConsult with the internal ERISA teams to ensure proper compliance regarding all client mattersProvide prompt correspondence and ensure questions or issues are resolved in an accurate and timely mannerKnowledge:Microsoft Office Suite proficiencyManaging and building client relationshipsRetirement plan knowledge preferredExcellent written communication skillsBe a self-starter and have the ability to make sound independent decisionsAbility to successfully interact with a variety of people/personalitiesStrong leadership and coaching skillsPossess technical expertise plus good analytical and problem-solving skillsAbility to handle situations in a calm, courteous and professional mannerStrong attention to detail, decision-making skills and problem resolutionEducation and/or Experience:College degree or related experience is preferredBilingual - Spanish language fluency is preferred#LI-ME1
