Description
We are seeking a Change Management Specialist with a strong foundation in business process re-engineering and technical skills to support government organization initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, and have a proven track record in managing large-scale organizational change efforts.
Responsibilities and Duties:
  • Collaborate with senior leaders and project teams to develop change management strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Conduct impact assessments to identify potential risks, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Manage tasks, projects, and workstreams for change management efforts to support the implementation of critical initiatives driving technology, process, and culture changes.
  • Plan and execute organizational change management (OCM) activities, focusing on changes to business processes, acquisitions, and organizational structures.
  • Identify project risks and create mitigation strategies.
  • Apply change management methodologies, communication planning, organizational readiness assessment, and stakeholder analyses.
  • Develop communication, change management, and/or training plans and materials.
  • Oversee or monitor the execution of plans to ensure adoption and minimal disruption of normal business operations.
  • Exhibit exceptional active listening skills to understand and address stakeholders' needs effectively.
  • Identify root causes of issues and develop problem-solving strategies to address them.
  • Demonstrate self-motivation and the ability to work effectively in both team and independent settings.
  • Articulate messages clearly to diverse audiences and establish strong relationships across the organization.

Required Skills
Qualifications:
• T3/Secret clearance
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in change management.
• Strong organizational and technical skills.
• Excellent communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large-scale change initiatives.
• Strategic thinker with strong planning and problem-solving capabilities.
• Ability to work effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
• Resilient and adaptable in fast-paced, dynamic environments.
• Resides in the National Capital Region
