Job Title: Mechanical DrafterJob Description
Creates models, layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials on assigned projects, usually from engineering sketches or layouts using a high level of independent judgment and discretion. Lead or assist in creation and adherence of company CAD standards. Completes Engineering Change Orders (ECO’s) and enters ECO’s in ERP system. Provides technical documentation support for internal customers and suppliers, including manufacturing, service, and other engineering personnel. Performs basic math calculations for evaluating mechanical component tolerances and dimensioning use on Engineering documentation, usually following standard department procedures and tables. Update parts, assemblies, and drawings created in older CAD software to Solidworks. Other duties may be assigned.
