**Job Title:** Registered Nurse (RN)
**Job Specialty:** Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
**Job Duration:** 13 to 18 weeks
**Shift:** 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours per week
**Experience:** Minimum 2+ years in PCU
**License:** Kentucky RN License
**Certifications:** ACLS, BLS, NIH
**Must-Have:** PCU experience
**Job Description:**
- Provide high acuity care in a mixed acuity unit with a focus on transplant recovery patients.
- Work collaboratively within a team to provide comprehensive care in a dynamic environment.
- Display strong ability to function effectively with high acuity patients, managing equipment such as PCA, chest tubes, CVP, telemetry, and more.
- Engage in peritoneal dialysis and monitor central venous pressure (CVP) when necessary.
- Adapt to floating requirements in PCU or Medical-Surgical units as needed.
- Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and patient management.
- Maintain professional appearance adhering to uniform guidelines (Galaxy Blue scrubs).
- Commit to working two out of the three major holidays, with approval required.
