Role Description

GETF seeks a Senior Contracts Consultant to support the GETF Operations team and project managers by overseeing and managing all project and organizational contracts. This remote consulting position is available immediately and would require a commitment of up to 30 hours a week. The consultancy will begin as part-time but may expand to full-time depending on need.


Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Advise on, develop and issue GETF, Global Water Challenge (GWC) and U.S. Water Partnership (USWP) contracts and agreements with contractors and subcontractors.
  • Issue contract and agreement change orders and modifications.
  • Manage contract set-up and modifications within the JAMIS Prime Enterprise Resource Planning system.
  • Review financial reports for completeness, correctness and compliance with current contractual requirements and/or compliance with government rules and regulations for government contracts (if relevant).
  • Share weekly contracting docket and weekly reminders for contract document review.
  • Review GETF operational contracts, offering guidance and feedback on agreements.
  • Complete due diligence checks for new vendors and partners, where applicable.
  • Review implementation plans and budgets for comment back to Project Managers.
  • Review final financial reports for project close outs.
  • Keep Contracts Standard Operating Procedures up to date as needed.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, pre-law, contracts, purchasing, economics, industrial management, quantitative methods or organization.
  • Seven to ten years of experience, including serving as a Federal government and/or contractor employee in the GS-1102 series or equivalent capacity as a contract specialist/administrator or procurement analyst.
  • Knowledge of the federal acquisition process.
  • Knowledge of contracting principles, laws, regulations and procedures.
  • Knowledge of methods and techniques of fact-finding, analysis, and resolution of complex problems, and the ability to develop concrete action plans to solve problems.
  • Familiarity with cost and price analysis principles.
  • Experience with the JAMIS Prime Enterprise Resource Planning system a plus.
