Zanti Cucina Italiana River Oaks Is looking for Bartenders !
As a bartender, you'll be crafting delicious cocktails and drinks while engaging with guests to provide memorable experiences. You should find enjoyment in creating new and innovative cocktails, enhancing flavor profiles and pairing food and drinks. Responsible for beverage control, accurate pouring of product, general cleanliness of bar, and providing a quality of service that meets guest expectations. Consistently display Steps of Service at all opportunities to provide service.
Primary Duties
• Greet customers
• Orchestrate an extraordinary guest experience by providing a fun and positive environment
• Exceed customer expectations by providing friendly, prompt, and attentive service
• Take food and beverage orders and accurately enter them into the ordering system
• You will use your mixologist talent to prepare and serve great alcohol and non-alcohol beverages for each guest, every time, all while enjoying the fun that each guest brings
• While mixing and creating, the bartender is responsible for ensuring that all state, federal and property specific policies and procedures are upheld
• Embrace service with a story through creating and serving both distinctive and traditional alcohol and non-alcohol beverages to guests
• Have a general knowledge of the Food and beverage menu and recommend and upsell food and drink products
• Follow the Steps of Service of the bartender position
• Be an advocate of our menu offering, receive food orders at the bar, and ensure accuracy before guest delivery
• Make menu item recommendations to guests
• Communicate any food allergy or special nutritional needs to kitchen staff
• Ensure all orders are filled quickly and accurately and that food is high quality
• Provide attentive service to guests, like refilling drinks as needed and checking their needs during meals
• Promptly address any customer service issues and refer to management when necessary
• Perform some side work such as cleaning up the service station and dining area
Position Requirements
• 3 years' experience in the food and beverage, culinary, hospitality or related professional area
• At least 1-2 years' experience as a bartender in an upscale or fine dining serving experience
• High school diploma or equivalent. College degree is desirable
• The bartender will be required to have an extensive knowledge of our food and drink menu and be able to recommend and reinforce the customers' orders.
• The bartender will also be a resource for servers in the restaurant to answer questions about our spirited drinks.
• Wine and spirits knowledge is required
• The Bartender is committed to safe food handling, cleanliness, safety, and sanitation standards during the shift and prepares drinks with proper safety equipment, tools, and recipe specifications
• Licenses/Certifications: TABC & Food Safety Certification
