As a Electrical Team Lead, you will develop team members responsible for installation and repair of machinery. As a part of the Operations team, you will have the opportunity to enlist internal and external resources to make improvements that shape production and product quality. What You Will Do:
Leadership Development:

  • Leads the day-to-day operations of team members on assigned shift to ensure a smooth workflow and achievement of goals and objectives.
  • Leads behavioral based safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance measures.
  • Ensures continued development of high performance work teams, deployment of lean principles and tools through a visual factory.
  • Champions the 4E's (Engages, Enlists, Envisions and Executes) throughout the organization.

Continuous Improvement:

  • Deploy lean principles and tools.
  • Works closely with other engineering disciplines in the development and application of robotics and PLC controls to increase production quality, efficiency or volume.
  • Monitors the effectiveness of systems, policies and procedures and makes appropriate recommendations to ensure daily operations are efficient; implements approved changes.

Technical Development:

  • Oversee production, installation, operations, maintenance, and repair of mechanically functioning equipment, including centralized heat, gas, water, and electrical systems
  • Oversee the planning and design of products, tools, engines, machines, and other mechanically functioning equipment and mechanical industrial processes
  • Assist engineering with capital projects

What You Need:

  • Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of technical production/operations or technical maintenance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 6 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 9 years of technical production/operations or technical maintenance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Required to work an off-shift (swing or graveyard) when scheduled.
  • Experience leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Supervisory experience.
  • Required to occasionally lift and move up to 40 pounds.
  • Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering plus 7 years of production or operations or technical maintenance experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of military operations and leadership experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Master's degree in Engineering or Business Administration.
  • Experience working in a consumer product goods environment.

Compensation :

  • Hiring Salary Range Posted: $98,000.0 - $147,000.00/year.
  • Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
