What does the Director of Supermarket Sales do at Swire Coca-Cola?
As the Director of Supermarket Sales, you will lead and develop a team of account executives in Swire Coca-Cola’s geographic territory, with the goal to advance strategic partnerships with retail customers. You will meet this goal by building and maintaining trusting relationships while achieving organizational objectives. The new director will institute and inspire growth for future opportunities by leveraging the latest tools and resources through cross-functional internal collaboration and inclusive of the broader industry system alliances.
Responsibilities:
- Provide short and long-term (5-Year CAGR) strategic direction for the customer team and overall Supermarket Channel to drive revenue, profit, volume, market share, SOVI and system health.
- Institute growth, profitability and competitive promotional strategies as well as develop annual Joint Business Plan partnerships in and outside the geographical territory.
- Lead and manage core retail partnerships, cultivating strategic and individualized relationships with retailer’s senior leadership teams.
- Collaborate cross-functionally across Swire Coca-Cola organization to develop and institute strategic support.
- Responsible for the overall customer team budget metric performance objectives, financial management, forecast accuracy, core competency behaviors, development, and institution of technology advancements.
- Ownership, accountability, and facilitation of return on investment for all retail programming including retail incentives, trade spend, commercial programming, retailer capital investments, etc.
- Ensure Account Executives are utilizing available tools and resources for development, collaborating for value, persuasive presentation skills, collaborative business planning and latest available selling techniques.
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field preferred.
- 8+ years Sales/Customer management required in lieu of degree.
- 8+ years Beverage or CPG industry experience required.
- 2+ years Sales operations experience required.
