Project description

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Agile methodologies and have a proven track record of successfully guiding teams in delivering high-quality products. You will be key in facilitating Scrum ceremonies, coaching team members, and ensuring adherence to Agile principles.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Coach team members on Agile principles and Scrum practices to enhance collaboration and efficiency.
  • Remove impediments that may hinder the team's progress and productivity.
  • Collaborate with Product Owners to ensure a well-defined and prioritized backlog.
  • Monitor team performance and provide feedback to encourage continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of open communication and transparency within the team and with stakeholders.
  • Support the organization in adopting Agile methodologies and promote Agile best practices.
  • Maintain relevant metrics to track team progress and identify areas for improvement.
  • Work closely with other Scrum Masters to coordinate cross-team initiatives.

SKILLS

Must have

  • Proven experience as a Scrum Master in a software development environment.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum.
  • Excellent facilitation, coaching, and mentoring skills.
  • Proficient in Agile project management tools (e.g., Jira, Trello, etc.).
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders effectively.
  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent Agile certification.

Nice to have

  • Experience with scaling frameworks (e.g., SAFe, LeSS, or Nexus).
  • Familiarity with software development practices (e.g., DevOps, Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment).
  • Experience in leading workshops and training sessions on Agile methodologies.
  • Background in project management or other Agile roles (e.g., Product Owner).
  • Knowledge of additional frameworks (e.g., Kanban, XP) and Agile tools.
