How Will You Contribute to the Company?

Cradlepoint is looking for a Senior Software Development Engineer with hands-on industry experience in cloud native browser virtualization applications to further our products and services. You will be interacting and working closely with some of the finest developers and leaders in the industry – where you will find that work is both fun and challenging with ample opportunity to innovate.


What Will You Do?

  1. Integral part of the agile team responsible for design, feature implementation, automation, maintenance, and operations of the browser virtualization platform
  2. Design features and technology that are highly scalable, modular, and responsive
  3. Design, code, review, test, operationalize, support, and document software functionality
  4. Be an integral part of a scrum team that operates in accordance with Agile SDLC
  5. Collaborate with multi-site software teams and best practices
  6. Champion ideas and initiatives to foster innovation

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  1. BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent qualification
  2. Seven (7+) years working in software engineering teams delivering cloud native scalable applications (development and operations)
  3. Experience working on browser isolation platforms and working with Electron, WebRTC
  4. Strong programming skills including experience in JavaScript, NodeJS backend applications, ES6+, HTML5, WebSockets, and developing cross-browser compatible code
  5. Experience with cloud technologies, Docker, Kubernetes, cloud native micro-services architecture, REST APIs and CI/CD processes
  6. Experience in complete lifecycle of cloud native systems design, architecture, implementation, CI/CD, deployment, testing, and support
  7. Strong grasp of programming concepts, data structures and object-oriented design
  8. Experience working in Agile software development team and processes
  9. Effective and engaging communication as well as writing skills
  10. Experience working on and knowledge of browsing, proxies, isolation, and networking concepts
  11. Located in Los Gatos/ Santa Clara area

Your Pay

The salary range for this position is listed below. The actual salary offered is dependent on various factors including, but not limited to, location, the candidate’s combination of job-related knowledge, qualifications, skills, education, training, and experience.

$138,600.00 - $257,400.00

Your pay also includes the opportunity for an annual bonus. This variable pay opportunity is dependent upon the attainment of agreed to goals and objectives as determined by Cradlepoint’s Senior Leadership team. Certain eligibility and pro-ration rules apply.

Please note that an employee’s FTO balance and floating holidays may be prorated in the first year, based on start date. Cradlepoint also offers paid maternity-leave benefits and six weeks 100% paid family leave for all employees.
