Mission
The Quantitative Equity Management team, which is part of the Alternative Investment Management department, manages over EUR 9 billion in assets in active Global, US, European and Japanese long-only equity funds and mandates for institutional clients as well as a long/short market neutral strategy.
A significant portion of these assets is managed using a combination of an ESG and Quant approach.
The team comprises 9 Quantitative Fund Managers / Researchers. Each aspect of the investment process – from selection of the data sets and the development of stock selection models to the portfolio construction process – has been developed in-house by the team.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities are the following:
- Manage/optimize data flows and architecture.
- Daily implementation of strategies in funds or institutional mandates.
- Participate in the development and improvement of all aspects of the investment process.
- Participate in the development of new quantitative stock selection strategies.
Profile
• Master's degree with a focus on Engineering, Computer/Data Science, Mathematics, Finance or Econometrics.
• CFA designation is a plus.
• 5 years of experience in the financial sector, preferably in areas such as asset management, consulting, or financial research with a focus on equity management.
• Strong interest in financial markets and passion for equity analysis and investments.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Analytical mind, innovative, and client-solution driven.
• Structured and disciplined in your day-to-day work, with a pragmatic approach.
• Proficient in Python and/or Matlab.
• Strong data management skills.
• Working knowledge of AI tools is a bonus.
• Fluent in English; any other languages are a plus.
