The Role
In this position, you will create compelling applications that enable our customers to view, control, and analyze their infrastructure. All of this is done using the latest technologies in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Specific on-the-job training will be provided.
Your Impact
- Work alongside an international team of talented people who are passionate about technology.
- Gain exposure to critical industries such as power generation and chemical engineering.
- Evaluate feasibility and develop an approach for integrating new feature and product requests into a complex distributed system.
- Collaborate with other professionals to develop high-level product specifications and system architecture with attention to system integration, security, and reliability.
- Communicate system and software specifications to the development team.
- Oversee the progress of the development team to ensure consistency with the initial design and work with the team to manage and communicate change.
- Provide technical guidance and coaching to developers and junior architects.
What You'll Need
- Bachelor's or Master's degree from an accredited institution in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- Experience developing software in various programming languages (C, C++, Java, JavaScript, C#, etc.).
- 8+ years of job experience in software or system design and architecture.
- Experience with inter-process communication, networking, and common networking protocols (TCP/IP, UDP, HTTP, SOAP, REST, DNP, etc.).
- Experience with MongoDB, Cassandra, Oracle, PostgreSQL, or other databases.
