The opportunity

As the Director EY Assist EAP Clinical Team, you will develop and manage the employee assistance and daily life resource and referral services for partners/principals, staff and family members in the US firm. These services are designed to enhance the well-being, job performance and work/life balance of individuals and families. Responsibilities include one-on-one consults with individuals, crisis intervention and response, working with clinical referrals, assessments, case management and follow-up for EY staff and partners. You will drive the EY Assist program marketing and communications, relevant research, and professional speaking about workplace mental health best practices.

Your key responsibilities

  1. Select and manage EY Assist vendors in the development, implementation, and delivery of Employee Assistance Programs (EAP).
  2. Ensure compliance of services with legal regulations and firm goals.
  3. Stay current on research and best practices in service areas, including childcare, eldercare, emotional well-being, and more.
  4. Possess specialized knowledge of work/life and EAP policies.
  5. Market EY Assist services internally to achieve utilization levels.
  6. Collaborate on firm-wide initiatives, including change management and crisis management.
  7. Deliver clinical assessment, referral, and follow-up services to improve job and personal adjustments.
  8. Serve as a national member of the firm’s Crisis Response Team.
  9. Collaborate with Benefits Team on behavioral health service design.
  10. Manage databases, reports, and analyses for planning purposes.
  11. Establish goals and pursue strategic assignments.
  12. Make decisions impacting the entire firm.
  13. Utilize complex problem-solving abilities and maintain a broad-based network.

Skills and attributes for success

  1. Extensive clinical knowledge and experience.
  2. Ability to respond decisively to emergencies.
  3. Expertise in at least one specialty area of behavioral health practice.
  4. Effective communication and relationship-building skills.
  5. Collaboration with team members to deliver mental health initiatives.
  6. Sound judgment and the ability to manage evolving priorities.
  7. Experience as an EAP professional is preferred.
  8. Technological skills in Microsoft suite and data analysis.
  9. Advanced understanding of HIPAA privacy requirements.
  10. Participate in on-call rotation for emergencies.
  11. Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.
  12. Possess specialized knowledge of EAP and organizational psychology.
  13. Adhere to confidentiality laws.
  14. Advanced degree (MA, MSW, Ph.D.) in a related field.
  15. Minimum of 12+ years related experience in EAP and clinical roles.
  16. State licensure in a mental health discipline.

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for your value to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $221,400 to $438,400. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State, and California (excluding Sacramento) is $265,700 to $498,200. Individual salaries are determined through various factors including education, experience, and geography.
