To direct the maintenance of existing data related systems; to plan, implement and control an efficient data management and business intelligence function of the Information Technology Division.
ESSENTIAL PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
• An earned bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of five (5) years’ experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position.
• Experience to include at least two (2) years supervisory or administrative experience.
OR
• Standard high school diploma or satisfactory completion of an approved General Educational Development (GED) Testing Program.
• Minimum of ten (10) years of experience and/or training in the field related to the title of the position.
• Experience to include at least five (5) years of supervisory or administrative experience.
AND
• Computer skills as required for the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
- Degree major in computer sciences, or related field.
- Degree and experience in the administration of information/education technology systems.
- Experience in a public K-12 school system.
- Experience in application systems design, programming, and implementation in a large public-school system.
SIGNIFICANT CONTACTS - frequency, contact, purpose
Communicate with senior leaders, directors, administrators, vendors to ensure the efficient and cost-effective management of systems and applications necessary to the strategic success of the District.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Light work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force as needed to move objects.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
Salary and benefits shall be paid consistent with the District's approved compensation plan. Length of the work year and hours of employment shall be those established by the School Board.
