Job Requirements / Description
Responsibilities:
- To perform in depth investment analysis, market research, deal structuring, evaluate proposed deal terms, risk assessments on investment opportunities.
- Liaise with legal counsel and other departments to complete sound diligence processes and procedures.
- Maintain oversight of portfolio performance to achieve performance targets and enable regular reporting as required.
- Monitor and analyze capital market dynamics, economic trends, industry outlooks and develop actionable insights and recommendations, via understanding of the business model and the information available for analysis.
Requirements:
- Degree or above in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
- Minimum of 5 years of solid experience in finance/banking or non-banking field with sound knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and industry trends.
- Able to work independently and willingness to continuously learn and adapt.
- Self-motivated, able to prioritize and navigate in a fast-paced team-oriented environment.
- Demonstrate excellent verbal (Mandarin is an advantage) and written communication skills (both English and Chinese), organizational ability, analytical skills, strong interpersonal skills, and a flexible work attitude.
- Excellent skills in quantitative analysis and financial modeling.
- Able to take a flexible and creative approach to structuring private debt and equity investments.
- Possess professional qualifications of CPA is an advantage.
- Strong capital market knowledge with investment banking experience is an advantage.
- Experience in fixed income and equity trading is an advantage.
- Experience in fund formation is an advantage.
- Proficiency in computer applications such as Bloomberg, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
