Quality Control Inspector

Responsibilities:

• Inspect implants, instruments, and gauges to ensure dimensional and visual integrity meets specified standards.
• Conduct receiving inspections and verify material conformity.
• Use standard inspection tools (calipers, micrometers, etc.) to measure and verify product dimensions.
• Interpret blueprints and GD&T requirements for inspection.
• Perform Document Review and Product Verification Inspections (PVI) following GMP guidelines.
• Calibrate and qualify inspection equipment; perform Oracle system transactions for inspections.
• Segregate non-conforming materials and complete required documentation.

Education:

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer vocational/technical school training.
• Prefer formal GD&T training (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).

Qualifications/Experience:

• 3+ years of product inspection experience in cGMP manufacturing.
• Experience in hand finishing, laser-marking, or similar processes preferred.
• Proficient in blueprint reading and using inspection tools.
• Basic MS Outlook; intermediate MS Word and Excel skills.
• Able to occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
• Familiarity with FDA CFR 820 and EN 13485 Regulations preferred.
• Experience in receiving inspection and understanding of packaging processes a plus.
