Travel Nurse RN - NICU in Red Bank, NJ

Weekly Pay Range - $2191 To $2434

**Shift:** 7pm - 7:30am; 3x12.5-hour shifts (36 hours/week)
**Guaranteed Hours:** 36 hours/week
**Experience:**
- 1+ year of experience in the related specialty
**License:** NJ State Professional Registered Nurse license or multi-state compact license
**Certifications:**
- BLS (AHA)
- NRP (AHA Only)
**Must-Have:**
- Level II experience
- Strong IV skills
- Bedside UA, UV, and chest tube insertion
- Managing CPAP (respiratory shared with hospital)
- Tube feeding (NG/OG)
- Universal Transfers
- Epic experience
- English proficiency (read, write, speak)
**Job Description:**
- Evaluate patients and assist physicians with patient care.
- Plan, implement, and document nursing care based on patient needs.
- Identify patient needs and determine priorities for care through assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation.
- Develop, implement, and coordinate individualized care plans for patients through initial and ongoing assessments.
- Initiate assessments based on patient needs, physician medical diagnoses, and the functional health framework.
- Perform therapeutic nursing interventions.
- Manage patient care.
- Document care based on standards, patient acuity, and clinical priorities.
- Advocate for evidence-based practice care standards and support the adoption of such practices and innovations in care delivery.
- Provide patient-centric care aligned with professional nursing practice models.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
**Additional Notes:**
- Weekend Requirement: 4 weekend shifts/month (combination of Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays as assigned by management)

**Preferred Experience:**
- Level III experience
- "Baby catching" (attending deliveries as a nursery nurse)
- Experience in environments with 24/7 in-house pediatricians and on-call remote neonatologists (without residents/PAs/NPs)
**Education:**
- Required: ASN
- Preferred: BSN
