Summary/ Job Objective:
The Director, Key Accounts for AIMCOR Enterprise Insurance Group “EIG” reports directly to the EVP-President, Aligned Distribution. This individual is a key member of the EIG corporate team and is responsible for overseeing the organization's strategic relationships with financial institutions, broker/dealers, banks, and other B2B partnerships. The role involves comprehending the business strategies and risk management requirements of clients, and aligning these needs effectively with the company's products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- The primary objective is to foster long-term relationships that align with company strategies.
- Maintain and expand relationships with large, multi-location accounts, ensuring the achievement of strategic business objectives.
- Act as the main point of contact for all national account management issues.
- Develop and manage relationships with key account stakeholders and executive sponsors.
- Implement strategic account plans to increase market share.
- Proactively work with key accounts to expand regional office and point-of-sale relationships across the organization's national distribution footprint.
- Create and execute a comprehensive national accounts strategy that aligns with company goals and growth objectives.
- Stay informed about industry and market trends to maintain a competitive advantage and identify growth opportunities.
- Collaborate with other departments, regional principals, and sales leaders to identify and cultivate national relationship opportunities and implement services to strengthen key account relationships.
- Establish a sales operations structure and environment that supports the implementation of strategies and operational models to provide high-quality service and increase revenue.
- Provide regular updates on performance to executive management and field leadership.
- Work with marketing to develop targeted messaging and materials that resonate with the national accounts segment.
- Identify new business opportunities within key accounts in collaboration with business development to enhance the company's relationships.
- Recognize opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to drive revenue growth.
- Monitor sales metrics, such as quarterly sales results and annual forecasts, to identify areas for improvement.
- Generate reports on account status and offer timely feedback to senior management on performance.
- Perform various other tasks, projects, and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- This position regularly requires the ability to manage challenging client situations and the insight to know when to escalate issues. The Key Account Manager must be proactive, driven, and capable of working independently while being a team player.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate, present, and influence effectively at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts while maintaining sharp attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask, effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment, and be adaptable and flexible to change.

Qualifications:
- College Degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Sales, or relevant field preferred.
- Experience as a Key Account Manager, preferably in the insurance or financial services industry.
- Proficiency with MS Office Suite, BI tools, and CRM systems.
- Ability to have a flexible schedule and work extended or irregular hours as necessary.
- This position will require travel of up to 25%.
- Compensation (based on experience)
- Variable Compensation: targeted to equal or exceed 50% of base compensation yr 1.
- This is an exempt position.
