About The Role
- The Senior Global Supply Manager will be responsible for managing the commercial interactions with contract manufacturers from quoting through execution stages.
- Regular business reviews with contract manufacturers will be conducted to discuss capacity plans and ensure continuous performance improvement.
- The role involves monitoring material component market trends to mitigate potential supply risks effectively.
- Key performance indicators (KPIs) will be published for weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance assessments.
- Collaboration with the electrical engineering team is crucial for developing optimal supplier selections for new products.
Qualifications
- The ideal candidate will have a BS degree in technical disciplines, with a strong preference for those with advanced degrees.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management or contract manufacturing, particularly in the electronic consumer product environment, is essential.
- Candidates should possess a deep understanding of technology and manufacturing processes, especially related to contract manufacturers.
- Experience working with Asian contract manufacturers is highly desired, indicating a need for cultural and operational familiarity.
- Certifications in APICS-CSCP or ISM-CPSM are considered a plus, showcasing a commitment to professional development in supply chain management.
