About the job
We are looking for an additional part-time Retail Sales Associate to join our growing Boston team on Newbury Street. The ideal candidate is a passionate, dependable, confident and trusted client advisor with a knowledge and enthusiasm for sales. Someone who takes initiative, has experience in the luxury retail market and strong communication skills will be successful in this position. This position will require a combination of weekday and weekend availability.
Responsibilities
- Confidently work the sales floor, selling to customers and sharing the Norwegian Wool story
- Respectfully assist customers and communicate special features with a strong understanding of the products and brand
- Establish a welcoming and approachable luxury environment
- Provide assistance to customers in person and over the phone
- Assist in carefully packing up shipments for e-commerce orders
- Maintain product displays neatly and in an aesthetically pleasing manner
- Help with product & supplies inventory checks
Qualifications
- Must have retail experience selling clothing (1 year minimum)
- Must be comfortable using selling POS software to checkout customers
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Knowledge of fashion and luxury fashion
- Familiar with store operations and comfortable opening and closing the store without assistance
- Ability to reliably commute to Newbury Street in Boston, MA

Compensation: $22 / hr. starting + commission
The schedule will include at least one day each weekend.
