As a Senior Software Engineer, You Will

- Develop and implement solutions to complex applications problems, system design and development issues, or network concerns.
- Perform software management and integration functions, improve existing computer systems, and review computer system capabilities, throughput, real-time processing limitations, Cybersecurity and software safety.
- Analyze commercially available, open source, government furnished, and contractor furnished software.
- Use development tools to update tasks and stories, check-in, and version control.
- Ensure project procedures and controls are followed, manage manning and staffing project efforts, and lead problem resolution efforts.
- Interface with system or program contractors, vendors, and Government representatives regarding the technical aspects of the programs/projects.
- Analyze architectural and functional requirements, specifications, and interfaces.
- Develop and apply automated solutions to engineering, scientific, or business data acquisition and management problems.
- Provide detailed software specifications and designs for proposed solutions using Model-based system engineering tools and techniques.
- Perform software and system integration and testing functions.
- Responsible for requirements analysis, subsystem allocation, performance analysis, and system engineering leadership.
- Work with internal / external stakeholders to identify new approaches and tools to enable rapid deployment of capabilities.
- Bachelor of Science (BS) degree from an accredited college or university in an engineering, scientific, or technical discipline.
- Ten (10) years professional technical experience.
- Six (6) years performing computer hardware engineering, software design, coding and compilation of code; computer or software requirements management, computer systems or software integration; and utilizing systems engineering software tools.
- Ability to engineer systems with integrated software and hardware solutions, and sensory control loop development.
- Experience related to HTML, C/C++, Unix, Linux, and JIRA.
